Roasted Parsnip Fries
Preparation Time: 20 Minutes
Parsnip(s) – one parsnip makes about 24 fries
Coarse kosher salt or sea salt
1. Preheat oven to 475 degrees – turn fan on if you have a convection oven
2. Peel parsnips
3. Cut parsnips into size and shape of classic French fry
4. Carefully remove a bit of core out of parsnip, as it tends to be a bit fibrous. This will ensure your fries are tender in the center.
5. Cut into fry flanks by cutting the length of parsnip in half, ensuring all fries are about the same size so they cook evenly.
