4 (about 2 cups)

Ingredients

  • • 1 T. Olive Oil
  • • 1/4 C. Finely Chopped Jalapeno Peppers
  • • 1 tsp. Chopped Fresh Ginger
  • • 2 C. For You® Radish Chips
  • • 2 tsp. Chopped fresh cilantro
  • • 1/2 tsp. Ground Cumin
  • • 1/2 tsp. Salt

Instructions

Cooked radishes are a revelation — the bite mellows, the texture turns tender, and a quick sauté in butter brings out a sweet, peppery side that pairs with almost any main. ForYou® radishes work beautifully here. Done in about 15 minutes from pan to plate.

  • 1 T. Olive Oil
  • 1/4 C. Finely Chopped Jalapeno Peppers
  • 1 tsp. Chopped Fresh Ginger
  • 2 C. For You® Radish Chips
  • 2 tsp. Chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 tsp. Ground Cumin
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt

1. In a nonstick fry pan, heat oil until hot. Add jalapeno and ginger; cook and stir until ginger just begins to brown.
2. Add radishes, cilantro, cumin and salt; reduce heat and cook, stirring often, until radishes are barely tender, about 6 minutes.
3. Garnish with julienned radish leaves or spinach, if desired.

Miedema Produce Team & History

MIEDEMA PRODUCE

Our Humble Beginning

Miedema Produce began in 1971 when brothers Gerald and Ron Miedema raised their first crops in Jenison, Michigan. The duo learned from their father, Ted, who had farmed in the Netherlands, immigrated to the United States, and used his vegetable growing expertise to make his start in the United States.

Miedema Produce began growing bright and crisp radishes, which is now our hallmark product being grown and produced today. Miedema Produce has since become one of the largest growers and shippers of radishes in the world.
